Kathy Brooks Scholarship

Purpose: To provide scholarship support for seniors graduating from Ashton High School or a consolidated school thereof who are committed to pursuing a degree in education or medical field full-time at an accredited nonprofit four-year university.

Eligibility: A minimum grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required. Strong moral character and involvement in extracurricular activities will also be evaluated.

Selection Process: Contact Ashton High School principal's office

Award Info: The award amount will be based on the performance of the fund and number of applicants selected. Past awards have been for $1,000. Award will be paid directly to the institution and must be applied to tuition, fees, books, supplies and/or equipment required for coursework.

Awarded Student Requirements:
1. Maintain full-time enrollment status

2. Submit a grade report each term

Renewal: This is a one-time award and may not be renewed for subsequent years.
