Cleveland Women’s City Club Foundation Scholarship
Purpose: The Cleveland Women’s City Club Foundation’s mission is to provide educational, cultural and social projects and programs that benefit the general public. The scholarship awards graduates of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District who are accepted at an accredited college or university in the United States.
Eligibility:
• Cleveland Metropolitan School District graduate
• Female
• Enrolling or enrolled full-time at an accredited nonprofit college or university
•3.0 minimum GPA
• A topic-specific essay addressing the question, “What would you do to improve the City of Cleveland or enhance the lives of Cleveland residents?”
•Letters of reference should include one from a teacher and one from a community agency

Selection Process: Financial need will be considered as a tiebreaker.
Award Info: The award amount will be based on the performance of the fund and number of applicants selected and will be for a minimum of $1,000. Formal notification of award will be made by College Now to the selected recipient(s). Awards will be paid directly to the institution and must be applied to tuition, fees, books, supplies and/or equipment required for coursework.
Awarded Student Requirements:
1. Maintain full-time enrollment status
2. Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
Renewal: Scholarship has historically been renewable for a maximum of 4 total years of support, provided the student meets the requirements and funding remains available.
