Cleveland's Future Engineers Scholarship

Purpose: Cleveland’s Future Engineers Scholarship Fund was created to advance education by providing scholarships to graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated both an interest and academic achievement in math, science, engineering or computer technology (with a preference for applicants who plan to seek a career in civil engineering).

Eligibility:
• Graduating high school senior from a high school in Cuyahoga County

• Cuyahoga County resident

• Enrolling full-time at an accredited non-profit four-year college or university

• 3.2 minimum GPA on a 4.0 grade scale

• Demonstrated interest and academic achievement in math, science, engineering, or computer technology

Selection Process: A selection committee will base its scholarship decisions on the completed application and on evidence of interest and academic performance in math, science, engineering, or computer technology. Preference will be given to applicants who plan to seek a career in civil engineering.

Award Info: The annual award amount will be based on the performance of the fund and number of applicants selected and will be for a minimum of $1,000. Formal notification of award will be made by College Now to the selected recipient(s). Award will be paid directly to the institution and must be applied to tuition, fees, books, supplies and/or equipment required for coursework.

Awarded Student Requirements:
1. Maintain full-time enrollment status

2. Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA

Renewal: Scholarship has historically been renewable for a maximum of 4 years of total support provided the student meets the scholarship requirements and funding remains available.
