What Is

Rec Center Programming?

;

Interested in college? Wondering how to pay for it?

The Rec Center Programming is a five-week program that consists of 90-minute sessions held twice a week. During these sessions, we provide college and career exploration activities, such as college tours, post-secondary Career Technical (CTE) enrollment assistance, financial guidance, and FAFSA help! This program is currently hosted in various neighborhood rec centers, including Kovacic, Zone, Glenville, Turner, and Frederick Douglass, with the goal of motivating and engaging students in college and career research.

Additionally, there is usually a one-day college exposure trip. A typical day at the Rec Center begins with an interactive workshop and ends with individual time.
